Join YCLM for a Boardroom Series session with Maureen Doyle, a Professional Interior Designer with more than 35 years of experience in the industry.
Maureen is a Professional Interior Designer with 35-plus years of experience in provision of services predominantly within the commercial and healthcare sectors in Manitoba. She is a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Architecture with a Bachelor of Interior Design Degree (1980) and a Master of Facility Management Degree (1998). She is NCIDQ and LEED certified. She maintains her involvement with the Department of Interior Design having worked as a professional critic to the second year BID studio, studio lead for the winter session, Environmental Studies interior stream, external advisor to a master’s candidate, professional practice instructor and guest lecturer and past chair of the Department of Interior Design Accreditation board.
Maureen is the recipient of the Hope Mackenzie award for volunteerism, has served as president and vice president of the Professional Interior Design Institute of Manitoba, education chair for the local IFMA chapter and served as a panelist at conferences in Winnipeg, Toronto and Vancouver.
Notable projects throughout Maureen’s career include the Asper Campus, Royal Winnipeg Ballet Building, COF Haven 55 plus complex, Wellesley Residences across Canada, Commodity Exchange Offices and Trading Hall, Royal Alexandra Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Expansion, IRCOM immigrant Housing, Manitoba Centennial Centre Star Dressing Rooms and offices and the New Manitoba Clinic.
