Jacqueline Young started Stationpoint Photographic in 2016. She specializes in commercial architectural photography services; collaborating closely with design professionals, contractors & builders, and owners to document and showcase their construction projects. YCLM has arranged this webinar as an opportunity for members to learn about the steps she took to start and develop her business, but more importantly to learn what contractors, architects & designers need to know when engaging and working with architectural photographers.
Jacqueline Young is the principal photographer and owner of Stationpoint Photographic, a photography company specializing in architecture and interior documentation. Jacqueline holds a degree in Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba (2011) and a Diploma in Photography from PrairieView School of Photography (2014).
Jacqueline enjoys the challenges of documenting artworks both large and small in scale. As an artist providing commercial services, Jacqueline strives to present the subjects of her work as simultaneously rigorous and playful. Her creative vision, keen eye, honed technical skills, and intimate knowledge of product design, architecture, and construction industries, makes her uniquely suited to provide photography services in Winnipeg and abroad.
You can find some of Jacqueline’s work published in Canadian Architect Magazine, Sustainable Architecture and Building Magazine, BORDERCROSSINGS, Winnipeg Free Press, Archinect, Architizer, and Archdaily.
