Join YCLM for a tour of the new SmarkPark Innovation Hub.

The SmartPark Innovation Hub is a new multipurpose building with physical spaces for community research, innovation and commercialization activities, offices,  and gathering spaces.  

The 4 storey, 75,000 sq.ft multi-tenant building with atrium contains laboratory pilot facilities, tenant units, meeting rooms and breakout areas.  The main structure is structural steel framing with precast hollowcore planks supported on Delta beams and the central core concrete elevator shaft.  The north and south faces are fully glazed curtain wall system.  The building uses VRF system for Mechanical heating/cooling.  The floor system is raised access floor within which majority of mechanical and electrical rough-ins are contained.  The demountable wall systems are used as partition walls between the office units.  The project is targeting LEED Silver.

After the tour will be heading to Boston Pizza at 2729 Pembina for drinks, networking and appetizers.
