Due to high demand we’ve opened up a second time slot for the tour at 3:40 p.m. Click here to register.
Join YCLM for a site tour of the James Avenue Pump House (Phase 2).
Heritage restoration specialists Bryce Alston purchased the 106-year old building in 2016, and are spending $20 million on an adaptive reuse of the structure in two phases. The first phase (which YCLM toured in 2017) saw offices installed in the pumping station’s rafters while preserving the machinery below.
Phase 2 will see the construction of a new 28-unit residential building on the east side along Waterfront Drive and a 63-unit mixed-use building on the west side.
After the tour, we’ll be heading to Nonsuch Brewing Co. (125 Pacific Ave.) for drinks, appetizers and networking.
